VJ, Live AV Performance and Video mapping workshop. This full VJ workshop, taught by the live video artist A-li-ce, is an invitation to enter the live video field, giving you the technical tools to start your live visual project by using Resolume Arena Software. We will explore Resolume Software possibilities to develop a VJ set and a live video mapping project.
The workshop’s participants will be provided with a temporary Resolume Arena serial number for the workshop duration.

WHO CAN JOIN THE WORKSHOP Any person interested in visual arts and live video performing. No previous knowledge is needed but emerging VJS are also welcome to join to develop further their visual performances and their technical skills.

Biography
A-li-ce (*FR – Berlin) works as a live video artist and as a VJ since 2005. She uses different techniques such as drawing, animation and video in order to create her hybrid time colleges in motion. Currently fascinated by biological structures, she proposes in her recent works some innovative stories between imagination and reality by using on stage what she calls « live organic editing » to create her visual journeys.
A-li-ce has showcased her work on the international audiovisual art scene (Mapping Festival (CH), Mira Festival (ES), B-Seite (DE), LPM (IT), Vidéoformes (FR), RoBOt Festival (IT), etc.), with solo and collective projects.
She won the 2nd New Medias Celeste Prize in New York in 2011 and her multi-medias work Fucking Wonderland was presented in Kyoto at the National Manga Museum in spring 2014.
Engaged in transmission, she also teaches regularly in art institutions and universities across Europe, leading courses and lectures on live video creation processes and as a Resolume Software expert. She has used as well her creative and technical skills in some faithful collaborations with some theater directors and music composers, creating the video content and the visual scenography of their shows. She currently collaborates as a live video performer with the music composers Savannah Jo Lack (AU) and Robot Koch (DE).
